Ford redesigned its Super-Duty Series for the 2017 model year including the one-tone F-350 model. These models are now the class leaders in all important aspects including the payload and towing capabilities while Ford also beats the competition with the leading torque ratings.
You can also configure your machine with the top-notch tech and safety features as Ford offers the almost unlimited level of customization. If you are, however, asking yourself should you wait for the new 2018 Ford F-350, you probably shouldn’t as this model will continue largely unchanged.
2018 Ford F-350: Design
In order to provide the exceptional durability and capability, the 2018 Ford F-350 will sit on the fully-boxed frame which has been made of high-strength steel which makes 95 percent of its structure. Stronger chassis components as well as beefier axles and steering of the new-generation Super-Duty Series will also provide unbeaten performance and driving quality. 2018 Ford F-350: Powertrains
Ford hasn’t replaced the previous generation engines but improved versions are available with class-leading torque and towing capabilities.
The 2018 Ford F-350 will have the standard 6.2-liter V-8 gasoline engine. It can produce 385 hp and torque reaches 430 pound-feet. The 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbo diesel V-8 will provide so far unbeaten torque of 925 lb-ft and power of 440 hp.
The F-350 will come with six-speed automatic transmission and standard rear-wheel drive. Configurations with the all-wheel drive and single or dual-rear-wheel will also be available.
