2019 Toyota Tundra Diesel
Like other full-size models available in the US, the full-size Tundra comes in a variety of trim options while also provides the durability and dependability that Toyota is known for. However, if we want to track when this truck was all-new we must return back to 2007.
The model received a mid-cycle update for the 2014 model and Toyota again refreshed this truck for its 2018 version. The recent refresh brought revised styling and Toyota Safety assist package. The TRD Sport package is also available while Toyota discontinued the standard cab.
When we are speaking about the 2019 Toyota Tundra, many hoped that this model will come with the all-new version. However, since Toyota refreshed the lineup for the 2018 version and since the prototype version wasn’t caught. The big modifications are not expected for the upcoming version. The model will likely rely on the same powerful but thirsty V-8 engines and the same mechanics. Wise move for Toyota would be to introduce the diesel engine option as most of the manufacturers offer oil burners. Some reports suggesting that Tundra could gain the diesel version for the 2019 model year but we haven’t seen any evidence about that or what option would Toyota choose.
